Jayna Hoffacker

Chair

Jayna Hoffacker, M.A. is the Director of Restorative Justice Ministry for the Archdiocese of Atlanta, and serves as a board member for the National Multifaith Initiative to End Mass Incarceration. She is also the Catholic Campaign for Human Development Diocesan Director. Jayna holds Masters degrees in History from Georgia State University and in Theology from Loyola University Chicago. She is a parishioner at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Atlanta.

Deacon Erik Wilkinson

Deacon Erik Wilkinson was ordained in 2017 in the Archdiocese of Atlanta. He is assigned as a permanent deacon to Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Atlanta. He is a board member of Georgians For Alternatives to the Death Penalty, past chair of Georgia Catholics Against the Death Penalty, and has been active in efforts to end capital punishment for the past 25 years. In his secular work, Erik is a Vice President with the data analytics firm Spartan Technologies. He and his wife Nancy have been married for 20 years.

Bill Moon

Bill Moon is a board member of Georgians for Alternatives to the Death Penalty (GFADP), and has been involved in death penalty abolition work since 1981 in France, in Texas and in Georgia. Bill is a retired school teacher and principal. He was a founder of the International Community School for refugee and American families. He and his wife Mary have been married for 54 years and are members of the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic community.

Don Plummer

Don Plummer spent most of 30 years working as a journalist covering crime for major news outlets including The Atlanta Journal-Constitution and CNN. An early adherent of web-based journalism, Don is a recognized expert in new and evolving social media. Since 2011 Don has managed community engagement and media relations for The Episcopal Diocese of Atlanta which is comprised of 117 worshiping communities located throughout middle and north Georgia. 

Imelda Richárd

Imelda Richárd is the Coordinator for Prison Ministry for the Archdiocese of Atlanta. Born and raised in Lima, Peru, Imelda has called the Atlanta area home for the last 20 years. After leaving the corporate world to pursue a career in the culinary arts, she answered a call to serve the Hispanic community in her parish, the Cathedral of Christ the King, where she worked as the Hispanic Ministry Coordinator for 8 years before coming to the Chancery to work in the Office of Life, Dignity and Justice in 2015. Inspired by the motto SERVIAM (I will serve, in English) instilled in her by the Ursuline Sisters during her school life, Imelda spends countless hours volunteering with the Saint Vincent de Paul Society, Christmas Connections Adopt-a-Family and The Compassion Kitchen Project in her parish.
